INCIDENT
RESPONSE The
facts surrounding incidents involving computer data are seldom known at
the time of the incident. Management is typically made aware of a "problem"
when, for example, confidential data makes its way to competitors and
the company is politely notified, or perhaps sales leads are suddenly
being followed up by your competitor before your representative has called,
or, data, money and proprietary drawings suddenly disappear or are altered. FCS will
organize and deploy over thirty years of technical and corporate management
experience in working with you and your staff in not only finding the
source and method of a compromise but also in recommending changes, where
applicable, to prevent such an incident from repeating itself.
Working
closely with top management we are able to respond on-site very quickly
in a covert manner to begin a cooperative effort to resolve the incident.
FCS also has the means to perform background checks and monitoring of
persons and places as may be needed in any investigation. Telephone and
bug sweeps may also be performed as may be warranted. Other forms of surveillance
are also available subject to law.
